November has been busy! On Friday, November 17, 2023, Encore Homeschool Fine Arts students who take classes taught by Mrs. Bernet performed at Pioneer Ridge Independent Living in Lawrence, KS. The students had lots of time for conversing with attendees, and collectively heard some great memories of music made in the lives of the residents. Both choral groups performed 8-10 selections of rounds, partner songs, and concert pieces. We are so proud of all that they can do with just one 45 minute rehearsal per week! As always, we are missing quite a few people, and the guitar students were unable to attend. We had such a big support group of parents, grandparents and residents, that it was just a delightful day for everyone. We can't wait to go back!!
